Sales & Distribution
Globrands distribution is based on “Van Sale” operation (order collection, supply of goods, billing, and money collection all in one visit) with the following principles:
- Distribution of high-equity brands.
- Low-volume products.
- High value / volume.
- High shelf turnover.
- Limited No. of SKU’s resulted in:
- adequate attention to each product.
- effective coverage in terms of number of daily calls.
Sales and distribution function according to international standards and practices.
Globrands operates through five Direct Sales Operation (DSO) Centers and 1 regional distributor. Employing approximately 70 sales people, the company covers almost 10,000 retail outlets on a 1-2 calls/outlet/week basis (circa 13,000 calls/week). The DSO system covers over 9,000 shops (93% of the retail market). The Eilat (far south) area is operated via a sub distributor which effectively covers all outlets in the area.
Outlets covered include kiosks, groceries, mini/supermarkets, convenience stores, food chains, entertainment places, Horeca and more.
Distributor Management
Sales management is performed by professional team of the VP Sales & Distribution, 4 Regional Managers and 8 Sales Managers.
Regional Managers are accountable for P&L accountability and have full responsibility for all distribution center activities, including sales, logistics, accounting, warehousing. The Sales Managers are each responsible for a team of 7-10 sales people, their performance levels, and results.
